I've been working on a new series of necklaces, that combine sewing and jewelry making, and of course, vintage supplies. This dream catcher necklace is my latest design, a combination of vintage lace, vintage costume jewelry, new findings and embroidery floss. I really LOVE the end result.
I'll be listing this in my shop if it doesn't sell at the Winter Holiday Bizarre this weekend in Nevada City. I've been selling a selection of my jewelry out in front of Broad Street Bistro with two of my co-workers at Victorian Christmas, but my oh my, is it CHILLY! It will be nice to be inside the Miner's Foundry this Sunday.
I straight up forgot about Sew Mama Sew's Giveaway Day! Ack! I've been so busy getting ready for the Bizarre that my mind was elsewhere. If you're headed to the Bizarre this weekend, behind something like this is where you will find me. Come down, get a drink, enjoy some music and finish up your Christmas shopping, it's going to be really festive and awesome!
Be blessed.
